Terms of Service

The agreement between you and statementconverter.my.

Last updated: 11 August 2026

The service

statementconverter.my converts Malaysian bank statements (PDF, JPG or PNG) into Excel and CSV files. It is operated as a sole proprietorship based in Malaysia.

By creating an account or using the converter you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need an account to convert. You must be 18 or older, give an email address you control, and keep your login to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Credits, packs and subscriptions

Every new account gets 10 free conversions. After that you can buy credit packs, which do not expire, or a monthly subscription, whose allowance resets each billing month and does not roll over.

A conversion is counted when a file is successfully processed. If a conversion fails because of a fault on our side, the credit is not consumed — tell us if you see otherwise and we will restore it.

Payment and refunds

Prices are in Malaysian Ringgit and payment is handled by HitPay. Charges are due at purchase.

Unused credits are refundable within 7 days of purchase if the service did not work for you — email us and we will refund the unused portion. Conversions already performed are not refundable.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and stay active until the end of the paid month. We do not pro-rate a partly used month.

Accuracy — read this one

Every statement is checked arithmetically (opening balance + credits − debits = closing balance) before you get it back. That catches most extraction errors, but it is not a guarantee of correctness.

You must review the output before relying on it. The service is a data-entry tool, not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and we are not responsible for decisions made on unverified output.

Acceptable use

Upload only statements you own or are authorised to process. Do not use the service to break the law, to attack or overload our systems, to scrape or resell the service, or to process documents you have no right to hold.

We may suspend or close an account that does any of the above.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, upstream provider outages and bank format changes can all interrupt it.

Liability

To the extent Malaysian law allows, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or lost data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms and will move the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Questions: vinustore.technology@gmail.com.
